Narcissa Malfoy in Wizards Unite

Narcissa is the 10th Adversary on the Challenges Registry of Feared Adversaries. Needless to say, she is the toughest Adversary to defeat among the Feared Adversaries.

Narcissa Malfoy Adversary Registry page

On the Registry page, players will have to place 1 Adversary and 4 Artefacts to prestige the page. These are as follows:

  • Narcissa Malfoy
  • Malfoy Family Portrait
  • Nature’s Nobility: A Wizarding Genealogy
  • Spider Earrings
  • Narcissa’s Wand

To receive the Narcissa Fragments Artefact Fragments you need to defeat 2 Guards and Narcissa herself. These are as follows:

  • Formidable Snatcher
  • Dark Witch
  • Narcissa Malfoy

Like with other Adversaries, for each Guard you defeat, you will receive 1 Artefact Fragment. When you defeat Narcissa Malfoy, you receive 1 Narcissa Fragment and 1 Artefact Fragment.

Formidable Snatcher 965 1 Malfoy Family Portrait Fragment, OR

How to Defeat Narcissa Malfoy in Wizards Unite

To defeat any Adversary, players have to make use of Spell Energy, Potions, and time. How many of each of these resources a player needs depends on a variety of factors, including:

  • chosen Profession
  • completeness of Profession’s Lesson Plan
  • completeness of Profession’s Advanced Adversarial Combat

As noted in the table above, Narcissa Malfoy has a stamina of 2642, which is the highest for any Feared Adversary.

When Narcissa Malfoy is a boosted Adversary, like during an event, you should play as an Auror for the extra advantage. That said, this advice is only true if you are equally strong in more than one Profession.

Damage Dealt by Narcissa Malfoy and Guards

When trying to defeat the Narcissa Malfoy Adversary chain, you will lose health points (HP) whenever the Foe hits you (at times you might be lucky to Dodge!). The chart below outlines how much stamina you will lose, depending on your Profession.

Foe Professor Magizoologist Auror >50% Auror <50%
Formidable Snatcher 17 13 18 16
Dark Witch 29 22 32 28
Narcissa Malfoy 42 32 46 40

Resources Needed to Defeat Narcissa Malfoy

Now that we know how much damage can be dealt by Narcissa Malfoy for each Profession, let’s look at how many resources players need to defeat the Narcissa Malfoy chain. The following data has been provided by Plotter101.

Adversaries: Narcissa Malfoy

Accessibility note: If you are using a screen reader, the following text explains this chart about the Narcissa chain.

Aurors will need to use 5 Spell Energy and 0 Potions to defeat the 1st Guard; 6 Spell Energy and 0 Potions to defeat the 2nd Guard; 7 Spell Energy (you might need 2 +/- Spell Energy as Narcissa can Dodge), 1 Strong Exstimulo Potion, and 1 Wit-Sharpening Potion OR 6 Spell Energy (you might need 2 +/- Spell Energy as Narcissa can Dodge), 1 Potent Exstimulo Potion, and 1 Wit-Sharpening Potion to defeat Narcissa Malfoy.

Magizoologists will need to use 6 Spell Energy and 0 Potions to defeat the 1st Guard; 12 Spell Energy and 0 Potions to defeat the 2nd Guard; 10 Spell Energy (you might need 2 +/- Spell Energy as Narcissa can Dodge), 1 Strong Exstimulo Potion, and 1 Wit-Sharpening Potion OR 25 Spell Energy (you might need 5 +/- Spell Energy as Narcissa can Dodge) and 1 Healing Potion to defeat Narcissa Malfoy.

Professors will need to use 4 Spell Energy and 0 Potions to defeat the 1st Guard; 14 Spell Energy and 0 Potions to defeat the 2nd Guard; 13 Spell Energy (you might need 2 +/- Spell Energy as Narcissa can Dodge), 1 Strong Exstimulo Potion, and 1 Wit-Sharpening Potion) OR 7 Spell Energy (you might need 2 +/- Spell Energy as Narcissa can Dodge), 1 Potent Exstimulo Potion, and 1 Wit-Sharpening Potion to defeat Narcissa Malfoy.

These recommendations assume that players have completed 10/15 nodes in Advanced Adversarial Combat. If you have not done this, you will use more resources.

I am an Auror, and I have completed 8/15 nodes. I try not to use any Potions against the 1st Guard. Sometimes I use 1 Strong Exstimulo Potion against the 2nd Guard to save on Spell Energy. I tend to use 1 or 2 Strong Exstimulo Potions and 1 Wit-Sharpening Potion on Narcissa Malfoy, with Healing Potions available in case of bad RNG.

It would help if you plan and complete your Profession’s Lesson Plan. Then you can concentrate on strengthening your Potions and improving their duration by completing your SOS Training. Finally, work on Advanced Adversarial Combat, which will help you defeat Adversaries.

Stockpile your Potions and Spell Energy closer to the Adversary event.
