Wizards Unite has briefly appeared on the Australian iOS App store, only to get pulled down in a matter of hours. Earlier today, the app was available for download in Australia, although the beta hasn’t yet officially started, resulting in a wave of errors for anyone trying to access the map.
The news follows another incident in the land Down Under, when an email was sent out from Niantic claiming that the Wizards Unite Beta is live in Australia, while in fact it wasn’t. We hope that our Australian readers will soon get their hands on the beta – third time’s a charm!
Excerpt from a support email shared with us
Hello, I downloaded the app from the Australian iOS store but it is crashing during the tutorial with the message “An error has occurred with the wizarding wireless network. Please try again later.” Is the game not launched yet in Australia? Thanks!!
