Wizarding Weekend Store Packs

As always, this event includes both a free store pack for all players, as well as a premium store pack. The details are shown below in the infographic provided by our friend Orange Wizard.

Is the SOS Bundle a good deal? Let’s break down the math!

A single Potent Exstimulo Potion in Diagon Alley costs 75 Gold. However, if you have all of the common Ingredients, it’s a better deal to buy 1 Unicorn Hair for 30 Gold, use Master Notes in the Cauldron, and then collect the Potion immediately for 41 Gold. So let’s put the value of Potent Exstimulo Potions at 71 Gold.

Thus 5 Potent Exstimulo Potions are worth 355 Gold.

100 Spell Energy costs 200 Gold.

Calculating the value of Level 5 Runestones is a bit tricky. For a simple number, I’m putting a single Level 5 Runestone at 12 Gold. The reasoning for this comes from Andolov (Gjcerda). You can read his breakdown on reddit. (He and I disagree on how to calculate the value of Potions, but I like his math for Runestones).

Thus 5 Level 5 Runestones are worth 60 Gold.

The total value of the premium pack is 615 Gold, if you care about Spell Energy. That’s a savings of 135 Gold. Without the Spell Energy, the value is only 415 Gold, less than the price itself.

Are you excited for this Wizarding Weekend Event? What do you think of the tasks, rewards, bundles, and more? I’m excited to see so many of the rare Quidditch Foundables!

800 Magical Games and Sports Family XP seems like A LOT! I’m saving updating my fragments until this event starts; that should help.

I wonder if there will be a wizarding challenge event featuring Games and Sports runestones. Like the one earlier featuring Dark Arts runestones. Ahead there were events where a lot of Dark Arts runestones were rewarded. And then the Wizarding challenge event came with a new room where we could encounter the basilisk. I feel it’s the same now. Events giving us a lot of these yellow runestones. I’m thinking of saving mine this time, just in case. Anyone else? I did not save up the runestones last time.
