Draco Malfoy in Wizards Unite
Draco Malfoy is the 1st Adversary in the Challenges Registry of Feared Adversaries. As the list goes on, the Adversaries become more difficult to face.
On the Draco Malfoy Registry page, players need to place 1 Adversary and 4 Artefacts to prestige the page. These are:
- Young Draco Malfoy
- Slytherin Prefect Badge
- Draco’s Wand
- Nimbus 2001
- Potter Stinks Badge
To earn the Draco Malfoy Fragments and Artefact Fragments, you need to defeat the Guards and Draco Malfoy himself. These are:
- Common Serpent
- Imposing Dark Wizard
- Draco Malfoy
For each Guard you defeat, you earn 1 Artefact Fragment. When you defeat Draco Malfoy, you earn 1 Young Draco Malfoy Fragment and 1 Artefact Fragment.

How to Defeat Draco Malfoy in Wizards Unite
To defeat any Adversary, players need a combination of Spell Energy, Potions, and time. How many of these resources you use will depend on your Profession, your Profession’s Lesson Plan, and your Profession’s Advanced Adversarial Combat. The more you complete your skill trees, the fewer resources you will need to defeat Adversaries.
If you have completed more than one Profession’s Lesson Plan, you can play as an Auror to defeat Draco Malfoy much faster compared to the other professions. That said, you won’t know the type of Adversary until you enter the Adversary Encounter. Once you start the Adversary Encounter, there is no way to change your Profession. Some players have successfully used a second device to change Profession, but this can cause a glitch that kicks you out of the Adversary Encounter, so do this at your own risk.
When Draco Malfoy is a boosted Adversary like during an event, you should play as an Auror for the extra advantage. To reiterate, this advice is only true if you are equally strong in more than one Profession.
Damage Dealt by Draco Malfoy and Guards
When going through the Draco Malfoy Adversary chain, you take damage whenever the Foe hits you. This chart shows how much damage you take, depending on your Profession.

Resources Needed to Defeat Draco Malfoy

Aurors will need to use 1 Spell Energy and 0 Potions to defeat the 1st Guard; 2-3 Spell Energy and 0 Potions to defeat the 2nd Guard; 10 Spell Energy and 1 Healing Potion (If bad RNG) to defeat Draco Malfoy.
Magizoologists will need to use 1 Spell Energy and 0 Potions to defeat the 1st Guard; 6 Spell Energy and 0 Potions to defeat the 2nd Guard; 13 Spell Energy and 0 Potions to defeat Draco Malfoy.
Professors will need to use 2 Spell Energy and 0 Potions to defeat the 1st Guard; 6 Spell Energy and 0 Potions to defeat the 2nd Guard; 15 Spell Energy and 0 Potions to defeat Draco Malfoy.
These recommendations assume that players have completed 10/15 nodes in Advanced Adversarial Combat. If you have not done this, you will use more resources.
Personally, I use one Strong Exstimulo Potion at the start of the 2nd chain to finish the battles much faster. The Strong Exstimulo Potion helps a lot if you have unlocked the additional potency and extra Potion charge in the SOS skill tree. By adding the Wit-Sharpening Potion along with the Strong Exstimulo Potion, Draco Malfoy can be taken down in almost 4-6 hits, depending on the unlocked Wit-Sharpening skills in the SOS skill tree.
How to Defeat Draco Malfoy by Profession
These charts will again assume that players have completed 10/15 nodes in Advanced Adversarial Combat. If you have not done this, you can calculate whether or not you need Potions by using this spreadsheet with data compiled by Plotter101 and his Discord. You will need to make a copy in your own Google Drive in order to update the player stats on the Summary page.

Final Thoughts on Draco Malfoy the Adversary
First of all, the dude is a repulsive Slytherin.
But on a serious note, Draco Malfoy is not that tough Adversary to beat compared to others. If you’re a newer player or a casual player, you can face off Draco Malfoy with a bunch of Potions on hand. Without any Potions, you still can defeat him 98.1% of the time, so it should be good. (Remember, this is assuming you have finished 10/15 nodes in Advanced Adversarial Combat).
Once you are done with collecting Draco Malfoy fragments, you can start collecting Artefact Fragments by defeating the Guards. Then you can back out from the Adversary Encounter to save on Potions and Spell Energy.
Prioritize finishing any one Profession’s Lesson Plan. All Professions have strengths and weaknesses, so consider your overall game strategy as a player, beyond Adversaries alone.
