I don’t usually work on a Sunday, but if the amazing Fazes can work in the middle of the night on a weekend to deal with a problem in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, I can share the details with you on Sunday morning.
Due to Daylight Savings Time ending in many countries recently, some areas of the world experienced Community Day from 10am to 1pm local time, rather than the stated 11am to 2pm. The HPWU developers are aware of this issue, but they weren’t able to fix it everywhere in time.
Right now, if the event started in your local area at 10am, and Community Day is still active, it will be extended to 2pm.
If Community Day hasn’t started yet in your local area, it should start at 11am and run until 3pm. (However, I recommend starting the game at 10am and checking, just in case).
This is the full announcement from Fazes on the issue.
Due to the timezone issues with Community Day we have extended the event by 1 hour. If you are in a timezone where your event starts at 10am, your Community Day will still run until 2pm. If you are in a timezone where your event starts at 11am, your Community Day will run until 3pm. For those players in timezones that had an early start, please stay tuned for more info coming soon. Sorry, again, for this inconvenience! Thank you to everyone who has reported and helped troubleshoot this issue!
There should be some sort of makeup day for areas that only had Community Day from 10am to 1pm. Stay tuned–we will have a post as soon as we learn more.
